AT first blush, it was quite a shock to see, of all things, a Chinese lion rear its head above people dressed to the hilt in formal wear on Saturday night at President's House, St Ann's.

Two aspiring Auckland fashion designers are exhibiting clothes in a German museum. Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design fashion students Andrew Smith and Emma Green have been chosen for an international fashion exhibition by German fashion designer and curator Eva Gronbach.
